Restor8iv Skills - Upcycled Wooden Candleholder Workshop - 8th November

Get away from it all for the day and join me for a relaxed workshop where we'll transform broken, unwanted pepper mills and sofa legs into candlesticks/holders. 

In the morning, we'll choose and prep our base materials, before, practicing paint techniques on wood scraps ready to transfer the designs to our candleholders/sticks.

Choosing your favourite from a variety of paint techniques, including distressing, saltwashing, stencilling, dry brushing, and more, you will then paint, and finish your candleholder, before adding copper pipe (candlesticks) or a reclaimed candle plate. 

• Learn a range of decorative furniture painting techniques you will be able to apply to a broad range of projects
  
• Take away a completed pair of candlesticks/holders. 

What to bring:
 - Clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy.
 - Lunch (there is a good kitchen onsite with fridge, hob, microwave...). 

What’s provided:
 - All paints, brushes, and specialist products, as well as a range of stencils, tapes. A range of pepper mills/sofa legs, copper pipe and candle plates (reclaimed). 
 - Teas, coffees, cakes & biscuits.
 - Expert tuition in a friendly, supportive environment
