Reimagining what we own. Rethinking how we consume.
We believe in a different kind of economy — one built on craft, care, and circularity. At Restor8iv, we transform unloved and broken objects into quality, hand-crafted pieces designed to be loved and kept. And we empower others to do the same. Because real change isn't about growth for growth's sake — it's about eco wellbeing: a future where our economy and our ecology thrive together.

Our Story
From recruitment to restoration — a different kind of career change.
After 24 years in recruitment, HR, and business improvement, we were ready for something different. Something that aligned with our belief that real change comes from grassroots action — not protest, but from living differently every day.
For us, that means combining two passions: helping the planet and nurturing wellbeing. We've always found that making things is our mindfulness. When we're cutting, sanding, painting, and restoring, we're completely present.
That's where Restor8iv comes in. We hunt for treasures — unloved, battered objects from charity shops, auctions, and skips — and restore them with love and a little elbow grease. Every product is made from discarded items, restored as sustainably as possible, and ready for its next best life.
Meet the Makers
Amanda
Founder, Creative Director & Workshop Lead
With a passion for sustainable design and upcycling, Amanda transforms unloved items into beautiful, functional pieces that tell a story, and shares her skills and enthusiasm through our workshops.
Never happier than when she's found an unloved item ripe for renewal, her skill lies in seeing, and realising its potential. Obsessed with obsolete sofa, chair and table legs, Amanda will never miss a chance to rescue another one!
Paul
Technical Director & Marketing Lead
A skilled woodworker, Paul's attention to detail is what makes his work stand out from the crowd. Blessed with the ability to engineer a solution to even the most complicated of Amanda's upcycling idea, Paul is yet to say 'no, that's not possible'.
A passionate, and talented wood turner, Paul's current obsession is making gavels for his many auctioneer friends!
