Restor8iv Skills – Folk Art Decorative Boxes – 23 June 2026

Learn the art of folk art decoration and transform plain wooden boxes into beautifully painted, characterful pieces you'll be proud to display or give as gifts.

This full-day session will take you through the techniques, patterns and colour palettes that define folk art — giving you skills you can apply to furniture, accessories and upcycled finds long after the workshop is done.

What to bring:
 - If you have a small wooden box you would like to transform, please bring that. 
 - Clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy.
 - Lunch

What’s provided:
 - All paints, brushes, tracing papers, stencils, and design inspiration. There will also be a range of small wooden boxes to use (all second hand). 
 - Teas, coffees, cakes & biscuits.
 - Expert tuition in a friendly, supportive environment
