Join us for a full day of learning specialist paint effects as part of our Restor8iv Skills series — monthly workshops designed to expand your restoration and upcycling toolkit.

In this session you'll learn the art of salt-water distressing, crackling, dry brushing and more, all skills you need to create time and elements worn pieces; elevating your furniture painting beyond simply the application of paint. 

We'll create a range of test pieces, before selecting a preferred effect to put onto a final piece.

What to bring:
 - A small, ideally unpainted, wooden item (e.g. an occasional table, stool, chair, or box). Please avoid bringing something too large or intricate, as you may not finish it in the day.
 - Clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy.
 - Lunch

What’s provided:
 - All paints, brushes, and specialist products
 - Teas, coffees, cakes & biscuits.
 - Expert tuition in a friendly, supportive environment
